Applications development · South Africa
Small apps, carefully made.
Vertigras is a South African studio that designs, builds and publishes its own software: focused Windows apps that each do one thing well, keep your data private, and are a pleasure to use.

Our apps
Each one built to do one thing well.
Open any app to see what it does, what it costs, and how it looks after your data.

plan less. live more.Coming soon
A clean, minimal bullet journal and notes app. Jot things down, tag them, filter to what matters, and pick up right where you left off on any of your PCs.
- List. Quick bullets with labels and a glowing status tag. Save your favourite filters as loadouts, and merge several bullets into a clean numbered list in one click.
- Same notes, every PC. Sign in on any of your computers and everything is there: lists, notes, pictures and your settings, kept in sync automatically.
- Notes. A sticky-note board, as tidy columns or an endless canvas you can pan and zoom. Notes size themselves to their words and never overlap.

TomeVox
Every audiobook you own, beautifully played.Preview
An audiobook player for the books you already own, in every common format. It plays them right where they live, and picks up where you left off on any of your devices.
- Every common format. m4b, m4a, mp3, aac, ogg, opus, flac and wav. Chaptered, unchaptered and multi-file books all work.
- Your files stay untouched. Point it at your folders. It never uploads, copies, moves or re-tags your audio. New books dropped in appear on their own.
- Pick up on any device. Sign in and your progress, bookmarks and favourites follow you, so the next chapter is waiting wherever you press play.

What we care about
Built to be trusted, then enjoyed.
Software that stays out of your way
Clean, minimal interfaces. Fast, keyboard-friendly and pleasant to look at.
Your data is yours
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your notes and listening progress sync only to your own account, stored securely in Europe, and your audio files never leave your computer.
Built properly
Shared cores written in Rust, tested heavily, and honest about what they do, down to every action that can delete a file.
Personality in the details
Splash screens, themes and small bits of motion that make an app a pleasure, without the clutter.
The studio
A small team, on purpose.
Vertigras was founded in 2024 in Gauteng. We’re a dev house, not an agency: we make our own products and publish them ourselves, starting on Windows through the Microsoft Store.
Every app we ship is private by design: no ads, no tracking, and your data is only ever yours. It’s fast, it keeps working offline, and it’s honest about what it does.
