How can we help?
Email us and we’ll get back to you, usually within 5 business days.
Skedaddle
A clean, minimal bullet journal and notes app. Jot things down, tag them, filter to what matters, and pick up right where you left off on any of your PCs. Windows desktop, from the Microsoft Store. About Skedaddle →
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign up with an email address and a password, then confirm your email. Your account is what keeps your notes safe and the same on every PC.
How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?
Skedaddle starts with a generous free trial, so you can use the full app before paying anything. After that it's a subscription, billed monthly or annually, whichever suits you. Current prices are shown on its Microsoft Store listing.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are bought through the Microsoft Store, so billing, renewals, switching between monthly and annual, cancellations and refunds are handled by Microsoft. Manage them from your Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions page. If you don’t want to continue after your free trial, cancel there before it ends. We never see your payment details.
How do I get my notes on another PC?
Install Skedaddle from the Microsoft Store and sign in with the same account. Your lists, notes, pictures and settings appear automatically and stay in sync.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Skedaddle works from a copy on your computer, so you can keep going without a connection. Your changes sync as soon as you're back online.
Where are my notes stored, and who can see them?
In your account, hosted securely in Europe. Only your signed-in account can read or change them; there’s no sharing, and no ads or tracking. The details are in our privacy policy.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Email admin@vertigras.com from the address you signed up with, and we’ll help you get back in.
How do I delete my account?
Email admin@vertigras.com from the address you signed up with. We delete your account and everything in it within 30 days, and from backups within a further 90 days. Signing out only clears the copy on that PC; it doesn’t delete your account.
Where is the keyboard shortcut cheat sheet?
Skedaddle can be driven entirely from the keyboard. Email admin@vertigras.com and we’ll send you the printable cheat sheet.
TomeVox
An audiobook player for the books you already own, in every common format. It plays them right where they live, and picks up where you left off on any of your devices. Windows desktop, from the Microsoft Store. About TomeVox →
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign up with an email address and a password, then confirm your email. Your account is what carries your progress, bookmarks and favourites between devices.
How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?
TomeVox starts with a generous free trial, so you can use the full app before paying anything.
How do I pick up a book on another device?
Install TomeVox, sign in with the same account, and add the same audiobooks there. Your place in each book, your bookmarks and favourites follow you.
Are my audiobooks uploaded?
Never. Your audio files stay on your computer, and TomeVox never uploads, copies, moves or re-tags them. Only your progress and library details sync to your account.
Which audio formats are supported?
m4b, m4a, mp3, aac, ogg, opus, flac and wav. For ogg and opus, Windows also needs Microsoft's free Web Media Extensions from the Microsoft Store.
Why is my speed menu limited for some books?
Windows can't play some formats faster than 1×; flac, opus and ogg are the usual ones. TomeVox asks Windows what each file supports and only offers speeds that will actually work.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Your progress, bookmarks, favourites and settings are in your account, hosted securely in Europe, and only you can see them. Your audio files, library and logs stay on your computer.
Factory reset in TomeVox’s settings clears it from that computer, but doesn’t delete your account.
How do I send you a log?
TomeVox keeps its newest 20 log files in its data folder. Attach the most recent one to your email. Logs can include file names and book titles, so only send one if you're comfortable with that.
Reporting a bug
Email admin@vertigras.com and include:
- which app, and its version (shown in the app’s settings)
- your Windows version
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- a screenshot if it helps, and a log file if the app’s FAQ above explains how to find one
